Data Classification: Send Particular Source system data to DSE

Hi

We are uploading multiple source systems data say A,B, C . Now if we have loaded A and B source system data in the SPM and we want to send only data of source system A to DSE(export folder) and not of source system B. How can we do that?

Regards

Neel

Hi,

Wouldn't be interesting here to create a diferent DSO for the Source System data that is not supposed to get exported? It wouldn't be difficult to integrate both DSOs in the standard process chain and have all data follow the standard data flow after you release for reporting.

Just on the initial load of data you would select 2 different Objects, one for the source system that is supposed to have the data exported and another object for the remaning systems.

Hi Neel

The export for classification, since classification is a across the orginazation process, exports all data at the same time.

There is no way to restrict a particular system.

Isn't there a way to specify date ranges for file extracts?

Wouldn't that accomplish what is necessary?

Ken,

Neel is talking about sending data to DSE from SPM, in this scenario there is no way to specify filters during exports. You are talking about exporting data using the SPM extractors in which case what you said will work.

Hi

Since there is no way within the application to limit export of data, maybe youcould achieve the same result by loading and exporting the data per system.
