HTTP 400 - Session not found error

After Login to CRM Web UI

After selecting the Business role a exception occurs with message

-Sevice cannot be reached.

I am getting following error as..

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL https://usciq9m.wdf.sap.corp:44377/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/BSPWDApplication.do call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system Q9M with error code 400 and for the reason Session not found.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Is that URL

is referring to your server hostname and port? If yes check correspoding service in SICF as well if exists

As far as I can see your system is not configured properly....the above host is a SAP host (As far as I can see you don't work for SAP) so I assume that you have inherit this settings as default from an IDES or particular scenario.

In anycase if you call a service in a host that do not exist in your environment its pretty normal to get an error.

You should check the config of your system.

Hi,

For this specfic problem we need to have a look arround through some areas as you can follow below

As from my point of view thie ICF(ie. Internet Communication Frame work) Service is created manually for your business requirement wright.

MANUALLY CREATION AND DEFAULT ICF SERVICE

1) If it is creted maunally you need to go to Transaction SM80 (ABAP Edittor) and activate the ICF Service here

make sure you do not miss to check once the service is activated.

2) go to SICF to the following path "sap/bc/bsp/sap" and check whether your service is there (or) not and if it is there then check it is active (or) not if it is not apperaring then you have to activate in SM80 properlly.

3) go to SMICM and go menu bar select "goto/httpserver/displaydata" here what ever ICF Service you created (or) default ICF Services must get appeared, if not you will get "400" ERROR.

4) go again to SMICM and go to menu bar "goto/httpserver/load url prefixes" and what happens is like it recollects the ICF Services i.e. it loads the HTTP Table contents and you can cross check once again and you see the table with the populated data.

5) try now to run the URL once again remember the below url is divide into 2 parts

1) URL https://usciq9m.wdf.sap.corp:44377 up to this is constant and the second part will be what ever the ICF Service might be it depends to your usage.

TIP:- Generate the HTTP TABLE because most of them forget this and there is a Transaction for reloading(i.e. refreshing) all the ICF Services sort it out.

HI please paste the URL when you test service here.

and tell me which is your instance number

Check the URL

for example

http://MIPC.domain.ext:8010/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame

Then have a ping to hostname

ping -a MIPC.domain.ext

Check that resolve name.

If not, register the IP with name in your DNS Server.

set parameter

icm/host_name_full = $(SAPLOCALHOST).domain.ext.

And try again.

<fullqualityhostname> is the name of your machine with domain, for example mipc.com.co

Check parameter ICM/host_name_full

<port> is the por of service
