Stock Transfer Orders for different sales areas from a supplying plant

Hi,

In the past, customer D4503 was assigned to plant 4503 in IMG-Materials Management-Purchase Order-Set up stock transfer order in sales area 4000, 20, 29. Now, the client wants to do stock transfers in the sales area 4000, 20,33. At any point in time, can we have stoc transfers from a plant in only one sales area?

You need to have both supplying and receiving plants assigned to both sales areas.

Yes, it is possible to determine different sales area based on issuing storage location.

SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order > Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations > ...
