Configuration not possible for material xxxxxxxxxxxxx : Reason 3 --> Help

Dear All

I have created a new material code without configuration. but when i enter the material in sales order it shows the following error:

Configuration not possible for material

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx : Reason 3 --> Help

What could be done so that system doesnt seek the configuration for this new material while creating sales order.?

hi,

this is to inform you that,

while creating MMR which material type have you taken for creating it.

and please check whether a check box called configurable material is checked or not.

or

please go for requriment class and check it.

or

go to MRP view and whcih strategy group you have given for MMR.

please check & confirm the forum.
