How to get document form DMS?

Hi,

My requirement is to attach the material drawing attached in Material Master with the output oh PO.

But I am not getting details of it?

Can anyone know about this

Dear PKB,

You can link DIR created in SAP DMS to Purchase order Item level.

This process of sending Drawing of Material with PO is not feasible. There are some limitations to it.

If drawing are greater than 5 mb, then in most of companies this size of mail is not allowed to send.

Moreover if there are multiple materials in PO the size would be problem.

SO better take print out of PO with Drawings and send it by courier to Vendor.

Hi PKB,

In case of PO you can attached documents at Purchase Order Item level. If this fulfills your requirement then in object link you can link these document to Material Master and Purchase Order Item.

If this doen't fulfill the requirement then go for z-development with help of abap'r by using screen exits you can link these document to Purchase oder header level.

Hope this will resolve the query.
