NWDS CE 7.2 shows demo.sap.com when creating DC

How to change demo.sap.com in NWDS to sap.com or vendor.com for CE 7.2

I have NWDS for CE 7.2 SP3(not a trail version)

I know that in trail versions we will get demo.sap.com but for me also it is showing that, I want to change that.

How can I do that.?

I don't find a way to change it.

maybe you can create a new SC with the desired vendor name.

Yes, you can remove the default SC and create your desired one .same way as we doing with NWDI configuration.

maybe you can edit this file .confdef located under <workspace>.jdi/LocalDevelopment/

using text search to find "MyComponents", change the vendor to your desired one.

Dear Hafizah Kamarudin,

This file is present in your local machine under your current workspace path.

Goto your desired worspacespace folder as explained by John Wu.

<workspace>.jdi/LocalDevelopment

inside this folder search for the keyword "*.confdef"

in the results you will get the file you are looking for.

Hi Weatboy,

You can check the SLD [Registering the Reserved Prefix for the Name Reservation Service |http://help.sap.com/SAPHELP_NW70/helpdata/EN/46/2821f4b7024250e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm] and remove demo.sap.com from there if you want.
