Why the URL gets removed from the WAS ?

Hi,

I deployed a WebDynpro and when I call the URL (for example: http://server:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/WD11111/MyApp), I get that the application is not found.

So I deploy it again and it works for few days and after I get the same error message.

How can I solve the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

FQDN is fully qualified domain name. Have you tried accessing the application as http://server.domain:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/.

Satyajit.

Hi,

Yes I tried to access the application using the FQDN as I wrote in my first post.

Maybe the WAS clears some URLs.

Should I create iView....and it will solve the problem ?

Thanks.

Hi David,

iView refers to existing WD Application. It will not help you much. Did you check question from my prev post?

Hi Maksim,

The answer is yes for all the questions you asked me.

Since, I created the iView I do not have problem with the iView URL....so I will use it.

Thanks Maksim.

Hi David,

So, you said that iView still works but WD application - not? How it can be possible?

Best regards, Maksim Rashchynski.

Hi Maksim,

I am saying that the iView still works. But if I want to execute the WD application by writing directly into the browser its URL, it works only if I did a deploy from the NWDS. It works for some hours and after the URL is not found....till I deploy it again.

So, the iView is the best solution.

Best Regards.

Hi David,

Right click on the content of iView select "Properties" and get "URL". This URL is actually URL of your WD application which you can use as "standalone" (directly from browser).

Hi David,

Is it your local server? Is WD applicatio available in WD Content Administrator? Can you see WD archive in SDM?

Best regards, Maksim Rashchynski.
