Free goods determination

Hi Gurus

Goodevening

We one requirement in free goods determination . Is it possible two give two diffrent kind of free goods along with main item?

Ex; Customer buying some " X" kind of material along this material he wants "Y, Z" kind as a free goods , if is possbile to give like this ? I checked in system it is allowing only one item.

this is to inform you that,

this is possible with CROSS SELLING also in SAP.

please check this and test in teh system and confirm on teh same.

How to do automatic picking & Batch determination in delivery .

1. I do have idea on the manual batch determination & picking process in delivery but not automatic process,

2. Is it possible to do delivery with out picking ? As per my knowledge we don't have anthing like that

Hi Venkat,

- Yes its possible to do delivery without picking . for that you have to fine tune the Delivery item category- 0VLP

where untick the "Relevant for Picking".

- You have to customize the automatic batch determination for delivery item category

Path : IMG- Log General - Batch management - Batch Determination & batch Check - batch serach procedure allocation & Check activation - Allocate SD Search procedure / Activate Check

Here you need to maintain the record for the relevant combination such as

sales area - sales doc type = Batch search procedure

- Activate automatic batch determination in SD

here you need to activate the delivery item category for auto. batch determination

Need less to mention that batch master record has to be maintained ( Tx: VCH1)

Hi,

As you rightly said,

System will not support for 2 free items along with the main item in Free goods determination.

Hence you can opt for Sales BOM for the same. Create Sales BOM for main item & include the free items as components.

As main item will have pricing & dispatch for both levels ( main item & component ) , fine tune your item category for eg:

item category

Main item - rel. for pricing & sch.lines allowed

Components- not rel for pricing & sch.lines allowed

Note:-

This is re-designing the std system, so it would be preferred to have seperate documnet type & item categories where possible.
