SRM on EHP4

Hi all,

Is there a recommended scenario for EHP4? Which of these scenarios, CLASSIC, EXTENDED CLASSIC, STANDALONE and DECOUPLED, is best suited for EHP4? Also, can we use PI/XI in all connections when we use EHP4 instead of RFCs?

For Classic scenario -

With SRM70 and backend ECC60 with EHP4, XI/PI is must for creation of POs, Contracts, Plan driven procurement (using SOA) and CPPR (transfer PR from portal into SoCo)

For Extended Classic scenario -

With SRM70 and backend ECC60 with EHP4, XI/PI is must for creation Contracts, Plan driven procurement (using SOA) and CPPR (transfer PR from portal into SoCo). POs will still use RFC in ECS.

Decoupled scenario -- you can use the Badi to change the scenario based on product category or your own criteria.

Standalone - I dont think anybody using standalone with SRM70. Coz Ehp4 functionality is in backend ECC system that gives more functionality to do in SRM. Incase of Standalone there would not be any backend ERP system to create documents.
