Variable Text Format Problem

Dear all,

When I put a variable into a text. E.g. <FS>-VBELN in the editor (not the visual one but old one)

After I save or activate the smart form, it becomes <(>&<)><FS>-VBELN<(>&<)>

I guess it's because of some settings. I just enable the old text editor, is it related?

Thanks and I understand what you mean.

After tested in different compputer, I found it's problem with MS Word 2002. The smart tag auto-correction is modifying what I input. It's OK now after disable this function.

You try like this...

In SMARTFORM.. if you want to add the field just click on "Insert Field" icon underGeneral attributes of the text window... and enter as &<FS>-VBELN& in the fields....

if you directly enter &<FS>-VBELN& in the text window it wont recognize....

OR

Clcik the icon "Editor"

here Click on Goto --- Change Editor.. this will open the old editor here you maintain like this... &<FS>-VBELN&
