Hi All,

I just did a CI export and sapinst has created a huge file packedroot.jar in SDM home directory. can we delete this manually as this is taking up a lot of space and we are running out of space on that host?

Is the export finished successfully? In that case you could delete it...

You could also mount the SDM on a larger filesystem and re-export.

Kind regards,

Just to confirm this should not impact java in any way right?

Yes, this is only a temporary file which is build during a java export.

You could also set another temp dir for your SDM export, check this thread:

Thanks Mark for giving re-assuring answer. I saw the thread last night but as I finished the export already wanted to know if I can delete the packedroot.jar . This will help me for my next export.
