IDOC error

Hi All,

I am getting following error while processing IDOC with staatus 51

"period 10/2010 is not open for account type K and GL account 211002"

as per my knowledge account should not opn once it was closed.is there any way to process this IDOC.

Note: This IDOC was created when intercompany billing happens (to post MIRO document)

From the error message it is found that you are trying to post an idoc where the posting period is maintained in the idoc for the month of january, gnerally any organisation will not keep an fi period open for jan currently. You need to ask the concern to send the info in the idoc with current date.
