Work Center tries to open SAP Gui when editing Ticket

Hi experts,

when I try to edit a support message in workcenter webUI with a certain user, it tries to open the SAP Gui (downloads ags_work_appln.sap). With a different user the system opens another browser window which is the wanted behavior. AGS_WORK_GUI_DEFAULT_SET is set to webdynpro.

Can you help me?

It depends of personalization (Personalize web link on main screan in workcenter (incident management)). To work with support message in web mode you should choose "Lunch Web application" radio button in Message processing settings. (It is a settings personalize for the current user)

hi

check your SICF services are active in your system

pls in your system execute Tcode SICF>Services>Default

activate the below service with all sub nodes "sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ags_workcenter "

and check the user has enough authoraisation, normaly the user must have "SAP_SMWORK_BASIC" for incident management it should be "SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE,SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN,SAP_SMWORK_BASIC"
