Number Range for Customer Master

Hi Gurus,

I have unique issue / problem on Number Range for Customer Master.

We have created multiple Account Groups with Internal Number Range. Now we are testing some data upload and hence we changed to External Number Range. If we create new customer, it gets created with external number but the number range series (XDN1) do not get updated. Also the customer is seen in KNV1 table. Now if I create customer manually, it gets created with the existing number as well. Let me explain with an example.

100030 Customer created. Now if we create New manually, with external number range 100030, it still gets created.

Also the customer gets created with random series but the XDN1 does not show the last number in use.

Can anybody explain this ?

Check in t.code SNRO.

Enter the object (DEBITOR) and click on change button.

Check the box main memory buffering and then save. Then try again.
