Dear All,

This question has been resolved by mounting the all the sapdata file systems with option CIO.

Thanks all.

Dear Gagan,

I would not go for restarting the DB before finding out the root cause. I meant, the reason for restarting DB ?

Dear Tom,

I have tried with the full path, but the result is the same.

Regarding to the dbv help,

1. The data file is exists.

2. The data file is not end with .dbf

I tried the same command in other system, the particular data file able to be verified.

3. How do we justify whether the data files are being locked or not ?

I recommend Note 527250 - DBV-00100 Composite SAP note

Dear Ken

You can also read following thread for more information:

It includes the SQL statements to check if datafile is locked and so on.

Kind regards

Tom

Try rebooting the oracle DB along with all services once and then try.
