I guess that with "Business view" you mean the universe class/object browser on the left side. Please keep in mind that the term "BUsiness view" is used for describing something completely different in BO.
Back to your case now: You have to add the additional table columns as new universe objects manually ( by drag&drop ). Even if you may have dragged&dropped the entire table in your object browser when creating when universe, there is no logical link between the created class and the table you used. The objects are created at that moment and in the future you can change them and also add additional objects manually. CHanges in the underlying table are not reflected automatically in the universe objects.
