Time Limit in SE30

Hi Gurus,

I'm using SE30 to analyze the performance of a program. It takes more than 30 minutes for that program to finish. However, I always got a message "Could not end the measurement (Time Limit Researched)" in SE30. Anybody knows how to resolve this problem?

Hello Jerome

The parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time restricts the maximum runtime of a dialog work process. By default it is set to 30 minutes.

You can up the limit or you might want to look into other ways preventing to reach the limit, using background process or limiting selection or cutting up measurements in parts.

You can use the replacement of SE30 which is a more effective tool in transaction ST12. This is also used by SAP to analyse performance issues with prooblems. Explore the different options and am sure will serve better than SE30

2. if the analysis is being carried out in dialog mode ,if i understood your question correctly ,pls see for background option

or increase dialog runtime
