Hi All.

I am new in REFX. When ever i am creating periodic posting for the month of 30.11.2010 SYSTEM getting error.

Enter rate USD / VND rate type M for 28.10.2010 in the system settings

Message no. SG105

Diagnosis

For the conversion of an amount into another currency, an entry is missing in the currency conversion table.

Procedure

Add the missing entry in the currency conversion table.

Execute function

You can then continue to process the commercial transaction.

Kindly guide how to solve that error?

Hi,

It is an entry need to be maintained for the source and target currencies in the configuration. Normally it will be done by finance consultant. If you want to know more details check in customization. SPRO->SAP Netweaver-> Currincies. Read the documentation which gives you an idea about Exchange rate maintainance. Once you maintain the conversion rate for USD/VND for rate type M, you can post the documents.

T code for the above is OB08, where for the curriencies mentioned above maintain an entry for type 'M', enter either direct or indirect quote along with ratio (mostly will be 1:1) and valid from date.
