Update not done when redeploy the application

Hi Experts,

I am using SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio

SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP10 PAT0001.

I developed an HandHeld application using Webdynpro Java .i write an static string in System.out.println statement when first time deploy the application, then execution of the program the stmt string will be displayed on the console. After i change the static string, again rebuild and redeployed then execution the previous string will be displayed not new string displayed. I think the previous deployed application not update. And I create an view and when am i submit the button then corresponding values will be stored in backend. In action method first i am displaying the values on console using System.out.println, then it display java.lang.NullPointerException. Any one can know the answer reply me.

Hi Sathya,

Before redeploying the application, please ensure that you shutdown and restart the client. I guess that is the reason the changes are not reflecting after re-deployment.
