Contract error

Hi SAP SD Gurus,

I created one contract with 100 quantity and validity period is one month,

After that I created three(3) sales orders , In each order I take 100 quantity.

System doesn't give any error message, why? and how it is possible?

But I am expecting Error message while creating Second sales order with 100 Quantity.

Please give me solution for my problem as soon as possible, please.....

You need to check in Complete rule of item category in VOV7-

- VOV8, check the order type details in contract section, / where outling agreements field / messages should be maintained.

If the warning message is relaed to Class "V4"- & you want to make this into Error message.

Change message type from W - to E in Tx:OVAH to the respective message no.
