Large soap messages

I am using SOAP message to create sales orders in R/3. But our soap message can sometimes have more than 1000 line items.. Is there any issue from XI perspective in sending large messages?

I am using SAOP UI utility to test this and big messages doesn't reach XI. Finding some entries in log file. But nothing in SXMB_MONI. How do i find out if it reached XI and whether XI rejected the message?

HI,

Check the Adapter Monitoring/Message Monitoring(RWB->Message Monitoring) ? Is it showing any error ?

Also check the status of message i.e Queue status (SMQ2).

I don't think so , 1000 line items etc will not give any problem.

Nothing in Adapter monitoring / Message monitoring. Is there any limitation on how big soap message can be? Nothing in SMQ2 also. It is as if message doesn't make it out of the SOAP client

If there is nothing in Adapter monitoring, I think, your assumption is right. Ie. message is not came out from SOAP client.

I think, it is better to trace the messages from the SOAP Client. For this Have a look into SAP note -856597
