How to prevent price to be changed for produts

Hi,

We want to prevent product (within and outside of catalogue) to have a fixed price. But we are not able to have the field for price greyed out/locked. Both when the product is taken from the catalogue or taken from internal service/goods funtionality.

Any ideas what we could do?

catalog-price - can not be editable

Internal goods service - price can be editable since it is material price .

Pls. check SAP Note 1299153, If you are on SRM 6.0 or 7.0. It is exactly the same issue

AS per SAP rule

The item price should not be changeable for catalog items.

We are in supportpack 05 so it is not relavant for us.

If I understood you correct everything from the catalogue (independent if it is an product with a material master) the price should not be changeble?

In that case I will have to log an OSS.

What SRM release are you running?
