Mass Change of Merchandise category to Articles

Hi Folks,

Is it possible to perform Mass Change for Merchandise categories to Articles.

If so can u tell me how because i have tried using MASS it is not working for me.

If it is not possible via MASS what are the other options?

Hi,

When you use MM46 or MASS to change the MC for an article the system will throw you an error " The value LF1010002 does not exist in foreign key table TWEW".

Note: In the MASS or MM46 the field pulled for the MC change is Ext Mdse Category.

Also Confirm the field pulled for MC change is correct or wrong.

Hi,

as Gnana already said, you cannot simply change the MC of an article, you have to do a reclassification. See FAQ 314490.

The transactions WRC1-4 and WRCV can create reclassifications, already there you could change the MC in many articles at the same time. Already this may be sufficient.

If you are doing reclassification for single articles, you may also use FM ARTICLE_RECLASSIFY_LITE_RETAIL.
