Doubts : SLD in Production System.

I have 2 SLD's in my Landscape.

1. SLD on solution Manager : DEV-SLD and QAS-SLD ( Both SLD on Same solution Manger as Cenetrlise SLD Option).

2. SLD on Production PI System( Local SLD ) : This SLD we are using in term of Production PI System.

Question : -

Q-1. Now for Tranport Objects from Solman SLD( D and Q) to PRD SLD........ We need to Set Transport targets in Solution manager SLD?????

If yes is the my next question would be :------

Q-2 That means will I have to register PI PRD System as integration Server in Solution manager also ??????????

after this Solution Manager has 3 Integration Server ( Dev IS(mailnly) , Qas IS(mainly) , Prd IS) ???????????????????????

Q-3 Similarly Will have to register DEV PI and Q PI syetm in Production Local SLD ??????????????????

To register PI Prd into Other SLD also ( Solution Manager ) : Which is Not a primary SLD for PI PRD System .

So What Steps are required to regsiter PI PRD SLD into Solution manager >>>???????

I guess RZ70 Only ????? Is that anything else is reqd???????????????

Yes, RZ70 is enough for ABAP based SLD.

on RZ70 , in Solution manager SLD , there is a techncial System for PI PRD System also ...with ABAP Type ..

now Will I have to create Buisness System Manually for PRD PI System in Solution Manager ?????????//

will it be also of Integration Server Type role ??????????????

Hello PS,

You have Central SLD is running in SOLMAN and PI you have Local SLD.

For Q1: Yes, obviously you need to set the transport layer to be developed in Central SLD.

For Q2: Yes

For Q3: Not required. If you register PRD SLD in Central SLD then your work done.
