maintaining the country of origin on export documents

Request of accurately maintaining the country of origin on export documents ?

Today, we have in the Material Master the populated value of the primary source, but occassionally, due to capacity reasons, the actual source will be an alternative supplier (from other location). Typically we would not change the MM. But in the Export documents it is requested to show the real source.

Scenario:US Danbury is the primary manufacturing location ==> sending to CA or MX

exceptionally, due to capacity issues - Danbury is ordering from China ==> new flow is: China produces - sends to Danbury - Danbury sends to CA or MX.Also, if you have experience with this request on Triangular sales ???

In my opinion,

you should change the country of origin in the outbound delivery.

This field comes from material master but you can change it
