Project Person responsible

Dear all,

Whenever user is trying to create project it throws error msg as

"No authorization for person responsible 00000000 action 01 Create"

To start with I checked the authorization roles and the authorization objects assigned to role.

The Authorization object C_PROJ_VNR is already assigned to his role. Then why is this happening?

Just to add that in this role there is another Auth obj Z_PRPS_ANR added. Could not get what is this?

Having an Auth Object / role is not the only requirement.

check the allowed actions in those roles / objects.

one can have an auth object to hi user id / KDS with no authorization even for display also.

Ahmed there is a problem at present to use the User ID of the user who is getting the error. But as far as my analysis :

There are 2 objects assigned to his role.

1. PS: Project Manager for Project Definition C_PROJ_VNR

PS: Project Manager for Project Definition SAXDRN2XXX00

Activity for authorization che * PS_ACTVT

Number of the responsible pers 00002* PS_VERNR

2. Z_PRPS_ANR Z_PRPS_ANR

Z_PRPS_ANR SAXDRN2XXX00

Activity for authorization che * PS_ACTVT

Number of the responsible pers 00002* PS_VERNR

I guess the value range for creating person responsible has been restricted to 00002* which means he is able to create projects for which person responsible starts with 2.

But what about this object Z_PRPS_ANR also added to his role.

Yes You are right.

I dont think this is Std. SAP authorization object, might be created by your BASIS team, check with them about this.

When you get the authorization error, execute SU53 immediately this will tell you what is missing.
