System Configuration - Instance profile

Hi all,

I search the documentation about the system configuration to set all the parameters to improve performance and storage space.

Please anybody can send me this documentation?

Hi Lorenzo,

unfortunetaly it is not that easy to make some performance

improvement just by changes some specific parameter ..

It would be much easier to help you if you could be a liitle more precise in what you want to achieve ..

Hi,

U can change ur parameter value through rz10

First Go RZ10->Utilities->import profile->from active server

then select instance profile

check the default value of that profile and after that u can change the value of instance profile.

When u select a particular parameter it suggest u that what should be the value of that parameter nd u can change it through suggested value.

After that just sopt ur sever nd start again ur server to activate that profile

But I would like to know how I can understand the logic behind the instance profile. Because I know the default paramiters but I don't know how I can change their.
