Dear All,
We're on SAP ECC6.0 and facing below issue in QM.
As a business requirement, we need to assign Inspection Type-01 (Goods Receipt Insp. for Purchase Order) and 06 (Inspection for returns from customer) in a single material which is also Warehouse Managed. But this is creating a problem while doing Customer Returns.
While doing GR for Customer Returns Delivery, system throws an error message- Material ******** **** cannot be used in inbound delivery because QM is active (Message - L9 528).
Can anybody help me to resolve this issue? Let me know if any further details/info required.
Just to add - If weu2019ve only 01 or only 06 in material master, system works fine.

Thanks for reply.. Before posting onto SDN, I searched a lot and found only two options:
1) Activate HU Inspection in insp type-01 in material master OR
2) De-activate "relev. for putaway" in ELN item category.
As per option-1, I activated "HU Inspection" in material master and customer return process went through fine but then faced an error while doing Incoming/GR Insp. for Purchase Order (Insp type-01).
Could anybody please explain me a bit details of option-2 ? Like what will be the effect of changing Item Category & etc..?

Hi,
For you case - I presume that sysytem will on;ly create the inspection lot for type 01 ,at the time of GR - If u r using the WM managned Storage Loaction.
I.e Now since u have activated HU managged Inspection for type 0. At the time of GR - It should create Dilivery instead of regular Material Documents and as we do packing the Inspection lot will get created.
