SuggestValues : how to allow not listed value ?

Hello,

I have implemented the new suggestion option on an input field(WD 7.11), feeding the values with data's from database... This is working fine, except that the user want to still have possibility to enter free text, for example "A" (generic). But unfortunately, this is not working as this value is not in the list (getting error "specified values A is not valid")

Is there a possibity to avoid this error message ?
