SAP start error

Dear all,

I have tried to start sap from cmd i got the below error .

C:\Documents and Settings\eccadm>startsap name=ECC nr=04 sapdiahost=ECC6

STARTSAP failed

Details are written to C:\Documents and Settings\eccadm\startECC.log

C:\Documents and Settings\eccadm>

startECC.log :

running sapstart.exe name=ECC nr=04 sapdiahost=ECC6 -wait

SAPSTART finished successfully on ECC6_ECC_04, but at least one process doesn't run correctly:

sapstart.exe=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

Check if all processes are running and if you can logon to the system. If not, check the relevant logfiles in the work directory of the instance and in the Windows event log.

sapstart.exe=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

is an information or warning message!

sapstart is a program which normally deals with profile parameters stored in profiles.

If you do not specify a profile (pf=....) but use named parameters (nr=....name=) your configuration may be incomplete or inconsistent with the one of the running instance.

therefore you get this message.

meanwhile it is advisable to use sapcontrol.exe to start and stop an SAP system.

see sapcontrol.exe (wihtout any parameter for online help)

Are you sure about your sapdiahost host is ECC? Make sure you give correct sapdiahost host name.
