Payment Terms determination?

Hello,

is it possible to make some kind of pymt terms determination based on distribution channel, for example:

Customer 1 has 90 days on ditribution channel A but 60 days on distribudion channel B.

And when creating a sales order this is being determined automatically.

?

Hello Saud,

If you don't have the different payment terms defined which can be assigned to different sales area for the same customer, then probably the best bet would be to create a Z table with the sales area, customer and the payment terms and maintain the entries there for the payment terms.

We have one sales area as a reference sales area for customer master data, that is why I am asking for other options, but if there is no better option I may try extending just those customers to other sales areas with other data ...

Payment Terms is determined by Sales Area if you want to change that determination use Sales Order User Exit.

You have to extend the customer to different distribution channel and division and allocate different payment term for it.
