Minimum consumption history req for Automatic model selection

What is the minimum number of periods required for consumption history in-order to use the Automatic selection model.

Hi

In automatic model selection , he system tests the historical data for constant, trend, seasonal, and seasonal trend patterns. The system applies the model that corresponds most closely to the pattern detected. If no regular pattern is detected, the system runs the forecast as if the data revealed a constant pattern.

As it test the data for all the different forecast model like seasonal, will suggest to have at least minimum period of history defined as season in seasonal forecast models The respective period of sales hisotry in also enough for testing the other forecast models like constant and trend.
