Hello,

Answer 1:

For Cash sale, TOR is not required. Check BV in VOV6 for TOR.

But for Rush Order, TOR is required because it uses the standard schedule line (CP) only. Check CP in VOV6 for Req/Assembly under Transaction flow.

Answer 2:

Configuration of TOR depends upon the client business process.

Example: Client does not want to make production according the Inquiry (IN) and Quotation (QT). Because an Inquiry and quotation may or may not be converted into sales order.

Requirement is simply, client does not want to activate TOR for Inquiry order and Quotation.

To achieve the above requirement Check VOV6 and uncheck TOR.

Hi,

Cash sales - as name implies, dispatch & invoice at the same time , assumption is to sell the available stock & book the cash accounts.

This process doesnt required to transfer the requirements to MD04, So you can switch off TOR for cash sales.

Where as in Rush Order, we just create delivery to reserve the stock against the Customer, but physical dispaatch may happen later. So the requirements should transfer to the MD04-Requirement list unlike in Cash sales. in Rush Order- TOR is always in active mode.

Hope it helps.

dear pamela,

this is to inform you that,

no you cannot switch off for Cash Sales and Rush Order.

for business process like third party sales because it is not a sales order stock business you can switch off TOR.

for materials like NLAG and DIEN which is a service item you can switch off TOR.
