SAP NETWEAVER COMPOSITION ENVIRONMENT --DIALOG INSTANCE IS NOT STARTED.

hI GURUS,

I have installed a "SAP NETWEAVER SAP NETWEAVER COMPOSITION ENVIRONMENT"........after installing successfully .......when I start the Syetm through "Microsoft Management console'...........Central instance is "Green" but the other one is not...(yellow).

I hav installed JAVA STACK ONLY..........NO ABAP STACK.

PLEASE HELP................

Hi

Two things you need the check here .

1. Check for services MaxDB instance are running or not (if not make it automatic and restart the system)

2. Check the developer trace file and if possible send it to us (just paste it in same thread)

Hello Gurus,

When I majke the MAXDB service "Automatic" and restartthe system .............no change has been observer....Like it is the Same dituation.................

On more thing I observered is that .......thare is no start profile on...."C:\usr\sap\CE1\SYS\profile".

there are three profiles and they are:-->

1.CE1_J01_India

2.CE1_SCS02_India

3.DEFAULT.PFL

Anmd for the Log file can you please mention oneor two log file name...........Which I need to paste for the help..........

Hi Pranendu,

Have you reviewed the starting logs at:

/usr/sap//work/*

Please check them and let us know whether there is some error there.
