When i log in to my SAP system which has 6 active servers , my user id is displayed in all of the instances in AL08 though i'm logged on to a particular instance. Can someone help me with this query as to why it's happening.

This is absolute normal behaviour.

AS Juan said it is normal behaviour. Al08 internally uses rfc calls logging into respective system to build your al08 screen.

It's happening because you access AL08, your user-id fetches information on your application server thus it is also displayed in that list
