Dear expert,
I am confusing in setting which is under SPRO->Project Systems->Cost->Budget->Specify Exempt Cost Elements. I have set the labour cost element in the table, but when I do a budget availability check, it will include the labour cost.
Does anyone know how to make this setting working?
Thanks in advance.
regards,
FLL
Hi
When you include the cost element (with controlling area) in OPTK transaction then any costs on that particular cost element will not be considered in availability check if your network/WBS element belongs to same controlling area. Even though its value is counted but when you check up assigned value this cost element cost will be exempted, You can check that in CJ30 transaction -> extras -> availability information.

Can you tell me how did you do the budget availability check? This will help us to simulate your scenario in our system and see where the problem is.
