Alerts - not Truncate the error detail for adapter engine errors

Hi all,

I need help on this.

We are getting alerts which details it not meanful because It is being truncated.

According the sap documentation:

Container Element = SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT

ABAP Dictionary Data Type = CHAR70

Meaning = Error text from the Adapter Engine

So It is seems the max length of that field is 70 so my question is:

is there any way to increase that field to capture the whole error details?

Any help will be appreciated.

You have to apply this sap note:

Note 1294312 - XI alerting: SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT is truncated
