being installed SAP Netweaver 7.0 EHP 1, Red Hat Enterprise Linux with Oracle

In Step Start Instance, stays in:

Starting BWD/DVEBMGS00 [ABAP: UNKNWON]

After 10 minutes of trying to start up the instance, the process stop

In the file log, dev_ms appear:

Do you have a localhost entry in your hosts file?

Hi,

Did you installed SAP with Any virtual hostname.

If yes, then check in the default profile what is that virtual hostname and try yo ping th ehost name locally from server.

If it does'nt ping , then make an entry in the host file of the Os and try to start SAP again.
