We are planning a technical upgrade from SRM3.0 to SRM7.0, including OS and DB upgrade.
I understand there is a one step upgrade.
My question is:
What are the OS and DB preconditions for using SRM upgrade program?
The basic update steps should be like this:
1.OS Upgrade (Win2000 to Win2003)
2.DB Upgrade (Ora9i to Ora10g) using DBUPDATE
3.SAP SRM Upgrade (SRM3.0 to 7.0)
Right after step 2, I assume OS and DB will not correspond to SRM 3.0.
SRM 7.0 Upgrade Guide writes how to upgrade from 3.0 to 7.0, but OS and DB's conditions are not mentioned.
I checked SAP Support Portal for Upgrade Master Guide, but documents are old.
They're still conditioned for "two step upgrade" for SRM3.0 to SRM 7.0.
Your advice would be very appreciated.
