Dear All,
For self learning purpose, I am trying to link SRM to ECC 6. I have performed following steps:
1. RFC users defined both SRM and ECC.
2. Logical system defined and assigned to client in both the system.
3. Created RFC connection(SM59) in both the system.
Note : I have checked the connection via: connection test option in SM59. It's working fine.
3. I have defined the back end system for SRM in the following path:
SPRO -> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> ALE
Settings -> Distribution -> Basic Settings -> Logical Systems -> Define Logical System
My issue:
As per the following blog, I need to assign the SRM logical system name in ECC6. However I am unable to find the path in ECC6.
[http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/5728] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];
SPRO -> SAP Web Application Server -> Application Ling Enabling -> Sending and Receiving Systems -> Logical Systems -> Define Logical System
Please guide, where I need to assign the SRM logical system in ECC6.
I assume that this can assign in following path:
SALE --> Communication --> Determine RFC destination for method call
I tried the same, however it is not allowing me to create a new entry. Giving error select RFC destination when I click on the logical system name and press F8.
Your early reply would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
sp sahu
Hi
In ECC6.0 Enter T.code : SM59
click the logical system : eg : SRMCLNT700
Go to logon and security tab
enter the User name : TTTTTand Password.:XXXX in SRM 5.00
click remote logon it will go to SRM 5.0
check this
