Hi All,

How can I specify the size of each node in design time?

For example my Data type looks like this

DT_Header

>> Header

>>Node1 string

>>Node2 string

>>NOde3 number

Now I need to restrict the node1 to contain 3 characters, node2 4characters & node3 3 number without a decimal point? How can I acheive this?

Hi,

Though Data type has place holders for Facets in the Details column, they don't seem to be working.

Don't know if this is availble in the new version of SAP XI 7.0

You can do this check in you mapping or in adapter module.

Do you XSD design in XMLSPY..XSD provides rules for such formatting and restrictions and then you import the XSD into your ID

Do u want details on how these rules have to be written?

2004s is the synchronised release and for SAP Netweaver:

SAP NetWeaver 2004s SPS 08

Yes you can give the details in the detail column saying 3 digit etc. But you will still have to do the check.

Hi,

When you select on Details, there will be pop up window. You can put in

Totel digits = 3

In cae of fraction, use fraction.
