Root Cause Analysis - Introscope Workstation/Webview

Former Member

After completion of setting up diagnostics (EM, IS and SMD are done), not able to view any web page within Workcenter ( Change analysis or Workload or exception), it's straight forward error.. IE was unable to link to the web page you requested.. Is this due to IGS or am i missing something which needs to be installed or any service to be activated.

Hello,

One more point :

by default, the port 8001 is used to displayed information in the Webview.

So check if it is opened.

Then, when you start the WebView, with which user do you establish the connection to the Webview ?

Dear

Your title doesn't match your question

Root Cause Analysis - Introscope Workstation/Webview --> the Introscope workstation or webview are directly accesible through url http://<host where you installed introscope>:8081 (standard port use) --> for workstation start and http://<host where you installed introscope>:8081/webview for the webview.

Your issue is related to the workcenter not displaying any pages in the different diagnostics tools.

I would advise to go through the documentation for the diagnostics scenario again and make sure you performed all steps.

You can find the guide and troubleshooting guides using quicklink

Kind regards

Hello,

I had som issued when using IE 7.0 and IE 8.0.

I have ... less issue using FireFox.

Anyway, when you start SOLMAN_WORKCENTER, you do not have any tabscript displayed, for example "Root Cause Aanalysis", "System Monitoring", ... ?

Please send more details.

Hi There

Here you need to make sure these things below are in place or not.

1.) The webdinpro services should be activated in the trans SPRO >>

SAP Solution manager >> Basic Settings >> HTTP Services .

2.) Please cross check in the trans solman_setup // Basic Configuration // Step 4. User Data >> the

<< Provide information for your BI configuration >> Column is maintained with the correct information.

If not then please update the correct detail.

3.) The system id which you are trying for workload data or exception data has to be configured with SMD

I mean to say the Manage system setup wizard (Solman_Setup) has been ran for that system id.

Jai,

All these have been as part of initial configuraiton. However , issue still exists and we suspect it might be due to port hasn't been opened at OS level.. still checking the same..
