Hi All,
We are working to migrate from SAP scripts to Adobe forms and when I try to print Adobe form on my local printer (LOCAL-PRINTER).
SAP scripts prints on different printers and we need to print Adobe forms also in the same way. When we try to print on the any printer as we print SAP scripts it displays the below message :
"Cannot find PDL type for output LOCALPRINTER
Cannot find PDL type for output device LOCALPRINTER
Message no. FPRUNX113
Diagnosis
No PDL type has been found for the specified output device.

can any one help to reslove the issue .

I experience the same and this is related to the fact that my user id in SU01 --> on the Defaults tab was configured with OutputDevice specified. The problem is solved once I removed the entry on OutputDevice.

You have to setup a special printer for the Adobe forms on backgrund/server or use frontent/ Adobe reader for manual printing without any special settings. Otto
