Check Out all the versions

Hi Gurus

Can you give me your suggestions for the below requirement

A document is having three versions such as 1,2 &3 and they can be viewed in CV04N. Can we lock these three documents if anyone of them is check out by a user. We need to restrict the users to change other versions from the system.

Hi Raja,

I think therefore an individual check with BADI DOCUMENT_MAIN01 in method BEFORE_READ data could be useful. In this BADI method you can check the current situation for all three versions and their originals and if one is in a checked-out situation then the other version can be locked for editing and a message could be raised too.

Can we control it using ECM. In our process a change number will be generated if a document is checked out by a user.
