SAP TMKSVR installion error

Hi All,

I got the following error while installing TMKSVR, can anyone please help me out in this.

"An error occured during installation (instmksvr: an error occurred while extracting the savefile on the iseries host (details" "550-Error occurred on command RSTOBJ OBJ(CRTTMKSVR) SAVLIB(TMKSVR) DEV(SAVF) OBJTYPE(ALL) SAVF(TMK.").)

Hi,

Could you please let me know if this job needs to be checked from OS level. If so, please let me know how to do the same.

HI

If job is activated, you can see the logjob with DSPJOBLOG or WRKACTJOB then find the job option 5 then option 10.

If job is ended, you can see the Spool file with WRKSPLF with the user that ran the job.

If so, can you tell me how you solved this issue?!... because I´m with the same problem when I start the installation of TMKSVR... if you don´t mind please tell us how you solved this error.

Hello,

1)Delete all the unnecessary TMKSVRxx libraries. If he wants to keep the

one that was loaded manually, then you should rename it.

2)Delete ftp.out

Try running setup again.

Check the JOB if is actived (WRKACTJOB), or check spool files with WRKSPLF.

Apparently the problem is that the command is wrong, created manually TMKSVR with the command.

RSTOBJ OBJ(CRTTMKSVR) SAVLIB(TMKSVR) DEV(SAVF) OBJTYPE(ALL) SAVF(TMK)

The actual scenario is we are trying to install SMD agent on iSeries Host. We have all the software, kernel in WTS (Windows terminal host). So, to install SMD agent, we need to have connection between iSeries host and WTS (please correct me if Iu2019m wrong). For maintaining the same, we are trying to install TMKSVR. While installing the same, we are seeing the below error message.

This thread is for other area. But check your spool files with WRKSPLF.

The error is for the sar file is corrupt.
