Plant company code change

Hi,

We want to move some plants to a new company code .

Is there any config changes required from distribution point of view?

I think we dont need?

Your shipping point is assigned to supplying plant in OVXC.

Check OVL2 - for the combination of shipping condition, loading group and plant, shipping point is assigned.

Before that you can't simply move your plant, if it has any documents.(Open or closed)

Hi ,

just check one thing, in customisation we will assing sales organisation to company code, and distribution channel to Sales org.

There is more assingnment of sales organisation / distribution channel to the plant.

If you are going to assing plant to a new company code then check this assignment and confirm with a business wether they want to change the assignment here also or not.
