Alerts are not sent via email

Hello all,

I've configured alerting and now I can see new alerts in my alert inbox (ALRTINBOX). But the system is not able to send me the alerts via email.

1. The alerts are visible in alert inbox

2. I have fulfill email address in SU01.

3. SAPConnect is alread configured.

3. If I receive new alert, no new messages are visible in SCOT transaction (for example as waiting).

Do you have any idea, where colud be problem?

Hi Bertuccio,

you need to jobs to process and send out the alert. did you configure these?

One is report RSALERTPROC and the other is the job to send out the email with report RSCONN01.

Thanks a lot! I have scheduled the jobs and now it works fine.

have u mentioned the fixed recipient name in the alert configuration ALRTCATDEF tcode.

check this quick conf guide:-
