NWDS Ports used by RFC Import wizard

Former Member

Hello,

I am trying to import a RFC as a WD model. However, I am not able to log on to the system. I have verified the user name, passwords etc. So now I am thinking that there might be some port issues between the host of NWDS and ECC host. Anyone know which port(s) NWDS uses to make this type of connection?

Thanks,

Sameer

User name/password incorrect. However, I am able to log on using SAP GUI with the same combination.

Not sure what happened ( might be good or bad) but now I am getting a different error:

" can't connect to gateway on port 3320". I am pretty sure this port is blocked through firewalls.

Hi Sameer,

Check your /etc/services file to see if you have the entry

sapgw20 3320/tcp

and whether there is any other service that uses the same port.

Hope it helps.

Hi Sameer,

Please check the corrent message server (Server Host name) for connecting to SAP System. I think, Port number is not required here.

Refer to [Build a Web Dynpro Application|http://www.erpdb.info/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/how-to-build-webdynpro.pdf]
