ETM Components activation-BASIS

Folks,

I want to have ETM:Engineering and Tool Management functionality in PM module. ETM is a functionality which requires application components like PM, FICO, PS, SD to be activated. We have implemented the said modules in our company and system is running smooth. Now that I want ETM functionality, I understand that I need to activate certain components in SAP from ETM to have ETM funtionality . Since ETM is not a mdoule, May I know how to activate this functionality.

I guess this is BASIS related activities.

Hi,

ETM is a part of ECC-DIMP component , so need to activate business function set , how to activate this is docuemnted in

Note 874471 - Additions for installing or activating ECC-DIMP on ECC 6.0

It is a basis task , moreover you need to be careful as business function set activated once can not be deactivated.
