Unable to get custom properties window in Visio for workflow diagrams

Hi

Iam trying to crate workflow in visio but am not getting custom propties for start/Notify/stop or other such shapes. Please let me know, if anyone has faced similar issue or any suggestions?

do you have different/old versions of MDM Data manager installed (may be in different directory)?. Please uninstall them. Visio is very sensitive to versions. Also reinstall Data Manager. We had the similar issue and reinstall fixed it.

Hi All

The problem is resolved after I uninstalled visio and installed complete visio version instead of typical version

I tried the setting mentioned in the link, it didnt help.

MDM version is 7.1.3 and Visio 2003.

Please Chechk the below settings

1. In MDM Data Manager, make sure the Workflows table is the current table.

2. In the Records pane, select any workflow record.

3. In the Record Detail tab, double-click on the Workflow property to open Microsoft Visio.

4. Choose Tools > Options from the Visio main menu to open the Options dialog.

5. In the Options dialog, select the Advanced tab

in your file path make sure ADDs-on and startup have relavant path.

Which version of MDM and visio you are using?

Hi Aruna,

Please check the version of Workflow Engine installed. It should be of same version with that of MDM Server. If already taken care of then try reinstalling it again and restart the machine.
